Menzies Concrete Coatings was founded by twin brothers John and Sam Menzies with a simple vision: build something together and do it the right way.
Our Roots
As lifelong Chicagoland residents, we combined our backgrounds in business, sales, and hands-on industry experience to build something of our own.

Growing up in Chicago, we learned the value of hard work and doing things the right way. After years in the industry, we saw too many companies cutting corners, using inferior materials, rushing jobs, and leaving customers disappointed.
We started Menzies Concrete Coatings to change that. We use a premium polyurea/polyaspartic coating system, follow a proven process, and back every job with a 15-year warranty.
We treat every floor like it's our own because our name is on it.

Sam Menzies
Co-Owner
Sam is a University of Illinois Chicago graduate who spent four years in Florida with a concrete coating company, where he learned the business inside and out, from hands-on installation to operations and sales. He moved back to Chicago to launch Menzies Concrete Coatings with his twin brother John, bringing that foundation home to serve the community he grew up in. Outside of work, you'll find him on the soccer field or spending time with friends and family. For Sam, being twins with John isn't just a family bond, it's the backbone of how this company runs.
John Menzies
Co-Owner
John is a University of Illinois Chicago graduate with a degree in Finance and a background in sales and client relationships across a variety of industries. Years ago, he and his twin brother Sam made a promise that one day they would build something together. When the opportunity came to launch Menzies Concrete Coatings, John brought his passion for working with people, building relationships, and solving problems to the business. Outside of work, you'll find him working out or spending time with friends and family. For John, this company is more than a career, it's the fulfillment of a promise between brothers.
