A Local Company.
A Higher Standard.
Menzies Concrete Coatings is a locally owned, family-run business serving the greater Chicagoland area. We specialize in a polyurea/polyaspartic concrete coating system, a stronger, faster-curing, and longer-lasting alternative to traditional epoxy. Unlike many epoxy systems, our coatings can be installed in cold temperatures, meaning we work year-round, even through Chicago winters.

Four Layers. One Bulletproof Floor.
Our polyurea/polyaspartic system is built in four precise layers, not painted on. Each layer does a specific job, and together they create a finish that outlasts traditional epoxy.
Diamond Grinding
We mechanically diamond-grind the concrete to open the surface, remove contaminants, and create a true mechanical bond for the coating.
Polyurea Base Coat
A flexible, fast-curing polyurea base coat is applied directly to the prepared concrete, filling minor imperfections and locking into the surface.
Full Broadcast Flakes
Colored vinyl flakes are broadcast to full refusal, creating the signature decorative flake finish and hiding any remaining surface variation.
Polyaspartic Clear Top Coat
A UV-stable polyaspartic clear coat seals and protects the system, delivering a high-gloss, durable finish that resists hot-tire pickup and yellowing.
